Originally from the Hawkes Bay, I moved to Wellington in 1990 and now consider myself a fully-fledged ‘Wellingtonian’.
When I am not standing on the side-lines watching Rugby I participate in Triathlon and have completed the IRONMAN 4 times.

I am currently employed as a Business Services Manager at Recreation Aotearoa, where I have worked since 2017.
Prior to that, I spent 14 years working in Australia. During my time in Australia, I played cricket on the northern beaches of Sydney.
I am very passionate about governance, and I bring over six years of experience in this area.In 2022, working alongside Sport NZ, I set up the National “Hub Collective” and continue to lead it today.
In my spare time, I enjoy recreating with my family, and I also play cricket on the Kapiti Coast.

I have been involved in community organisations for over 20 years and am a strong believer in the value of clubs in both bringing people together and supporting life-long engagement in active recreation.
